Jesse Sullivan is back with a giveaway! Dying by the Hour by @koryshrum #giveaway #amreading #bookreview
I enjoyed Dying for a Living (you can read my review for that here) so much that when Kory Shrum asked me if I wanted an advanced review copy of its sequal - Dying by the Hour - I said, "F**K YEAH!" Literally.
Then, as most of you know, I had a couple of personal crises and I had real trouble reading for awhile. Sadly, it took me over a month to read this book and that is NOT a reflection on the book itself. I really did enjoy it. It's a great story and I am a fan.
Kory is generously giving away copies of her books and you can enter to win by following these Rafflecopter instructions!

Jesse is still dying for a living and the Church is still set on killing off the NRDs. All of our favorite characters the first book return in this sequel - Brinkly, Lane, Gloria and last, but not least, Allie. Oh! And Winston the pug is back too.
Dying by the Hour is slightly darker than Dying for a Living. There is more danger here, and more intrigue as well. It's hard to know who to trust, but as far as stories go that is a good thing because it keeps you guessing.
My only complaint about Dying for the Hour is that I was hoping for a bit more of a show-down at the end, but maybe that will come in book three of this awesome series.
If you haven't read Dying for a Living, you should. And if you have, you definitely want to read Dying by the Hour. Kory M. Shrum is a great and very imaginative writer. I interviewed her shortly after the release of her first book, Dying for a Living. You can read that interview here.

After 83 deaths, Jesse Sullivan knows how to die. As a Necronite, she is one of the population’s rare 2% who can serve as a death replacement agent, dying so others don’t have to. But using her NRD to save lives is why she’s being hunted.
For Ally Gallagher, death is permanent. If she fails to protect Jesse again, there will be no third attempt. After a quiet year the signs of serious danger have returned. People connected to Jesse are disappearing. Her home is vandalized and threatening messages are turning up in the safest of places.
Then Jesse is taken and Ally has only hours to get her back. But no salvation comes without its price.
