Nazca Lines and an apology #nazca #aliens

Hey gang, Abie here. I knew it had been awhile since I posted here, but I didn't realize it had been quite so long. I apologize for neglecting you - still. As you know, I lost my sister quite suddenly to cancer in June, and I'm sad to report that in mid July my mother-in-law also suddenly died. While she was elderly, this was still an unexpected blow. I am still reeling from the loss of both these beautiful women in my life and I am completely off my game.

While I am not quite all the way back to myself yet, I do not want to lose touch with all of you so I am going to try desperately not to let it go so long between posts again.

And in the meantime, I will change the subject to one you might find a bit more interesting.

I'm guessing most of you have heard of the Nazca Lines - right? Those huge ground drawings of animals and shapes hundreds of years old in Peru that were thought to be visible only from the sky.

Well I only just heard that following recent storms more drawings were found. Did you know this? Want to learn more? Here is a link to an article about the recent discovery.

More Nazca Lines Revealed After Peruvian Sandstorms

What do you think? Were they made by or for aliens? Or did they have another purpose? Please share your thoughts in the comments.

  1. I've heard of them and find them fascinating. Are aliens your theory or do you have another?

    1. As you and I discussed the other night Jess, I'm leaning toward the possibility that advanced societies of humans existed thousands of years ago and that we have somehow lost the memory of the societies and their technologies over time. I'm thinking not so much aliens, but perhaps as a landing strip for advanced humans that had flying technology.

Although this article also claims that these glyphs can be seen from nearby hilltops as well as from the sky, so it is possible they were made for some other purpose for use by those viewing from the hilltops.

      And your theory?

    2. I don't know. So many options. Bored aliens drawing in the sand. A long dead but at the time highly advanced civilisation. Stay puft marshmallow man slipping and sliding :)

    3. Princess Jessica I love how your mind works. Stay Puff Marshmallow man - perfect!
