An Appointment with Murder by Jennifer L. Jennings

Book Blurb:
It’s a quiet Friday evening in Bridgeport, New Hampshire and massage therapist Sarah Woods is working late at her office. She checks her room. Everything is ready as she waits for her client Jeff Gardner to arrive. However, things start to spiral out of control when a dead body is discovered. Terrified, Sarah finds herself caught up in the middle of a murder investigation. Who can she trust when it becomes apparent the crime is not what it seems.

My review:
This was an enjoyable mystery. Short and sweet. A quick and easy read. Nothing earth shattering about it, but it was sort of fun. I will say I didn't see the murderer coming. Must be reading too many mysteries. I suspected just about everyone else!  Isn't that the sign of a good mystery? I'm not sure I loved it enough to read any more in this series, but I liked this one.

Have you ever enjoyed a book, yet not wanted to read its sequel(s)? Which book(s) and why?
