Sara's Game by Ernie Lindsey

Book Blurb:
Two years ago, Sara's husband left for the gym one morning...and never came back. His car was found. He wasn't. Unbelievably, the police report said, "No foul play suspected." There were a few unreliable sightings over the following months, but little else.

Now, on the last day before summer break, her three children have gone missing from their schools, all at the same time.

And the note under her windshield wiper asks one simple question: Are you ready to play the game?

My review:
I'm not a fan of the cover of this book. I think the photo looks too young to be Sara. But hey, that is neither here nor there. I do not judge a book by it's cover.

Sara's Game is a truly harrowing, action-packed, suspense novel. As a mother I can completely relate to Sara's feelings of frustration and determination. This is a short novel and it is one you will likely read in one sitting - I did. I couldn't put it down.

Sara is a marketing director for a video game company. Her children are missing. And someone is toying with her by telling her if she plays their game she will get her children back. But who? And why? Twists and turns abound.

Although I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending (I rarely am - just a me thing), this was a thoroughly enjoyable ride! Thank you Ernie!
