Book blurb:What happens when the past catches up to the present and the truth surfaces? Three women, roommates back in college, find their lives forever altered when one of them feels compelled to confess the secret sin of their past.
And whose truth is it?
'The Truth About Us' weaves the past and the present in a page-turner that explores the shifting quality of truth, and the cost of secrets.
My review:Dalene Flannigan tells a good story. This novel is the story of three young college students who share a secret. Fifteen years later, one of them wants to make that secret public even though it will destroy the lives of them all.
This is not a light and breezy book. It is full of emotional turmoil, ethical dilemmas, and references to sexual abuse. The characters are well written. It is a powerful tale and an excellent one.
Thank you for asking me to read it Dalene!
